Muslims are not terrorists

This is a summary plus additions to a post by the Huffington Post

Before I get into this I’d like to say that personally I’m an atheist and when it comes to all religions I know of I don’t agree.
So with that said let’s address the issue of Muslims and terrorists. These two things are not tied together, just because your are one doesn’t mean that you are the other and vice-versa.

The definition of terrorist is a person who uses terrorism in the pursuit of political aims. So you’d think the case of a young Nevada couple who killed two police officers and covered one with a swatistika and one with the Revolutionary War-era flag. The couple were shouting about “revolution” as they moved to a Walmart. And killed another man. “There is no doubt that the suspects have an ideology that’s along the lines of militia and white supremacists,” said Kevin C. McMahill. Yet the media did not label these muderers as terrorists. Had they been Muslim they would have been labelled terrorists .
In Charleston a man killed 9 people in an attempt to kill all black church goers but he wasn’t called a terroris

Now that we know how the media is using the term terrorist incorrectly. Let’s talk about Muslims and Canada.

Muslim presence dates back to 1984.Muslims are the second largest religion in Canada.

Now to Muslims being violent here’s a quote from the Huffington Post “The world’s most populous Muslim country, Indonesia, has a homicide per capita rate of 0.6 per 100,000 which compares to 4.7 in the U.S. and 1.6 in Canada. And in any case, some 40 per cent of all violent crimes in the U.S. are alcohol-related. For those who don’t know, very, very few Muslims drink alcohol since the faith prohibits it.”

ISIS or ISIL whatever you call them only gain from the fear our world has of them. They grow off this fear.
